Last Friday evening our Maine employees came together to celebrate the end to a successful 2017, and the excitement of 2018, with a get-together in downtown Portland, Maine. Dinner, drinks, and socializing were topped off by raffles to wrap up the night. Special thanks to Rivalries for hosting us.

Take a look inside our APEX Center of New England project in Marlborough, MA for Republic Building. This entertainment complex will be home to a Go Kart Racing Track, Bumper Cars, Bowling Lanes, Trampoline Room, Planet Fitness, Virtual Reality company, and much more!!! Our sister company Atlantic Prefab constructed and installed StoPanel Classic CI Panels to wrap the entire exterior of the building and provided a massive, custom prefabricated tire to hang from the ceiling as go carts race by underneath.

Last night Metro Walls joined 21 teams made up of over 100 bowlers for the ABC Young Professionals Group's 3rd annual charity bowling tournament.

Last weekend Metro Walls, Atlantic Prefab, and Exterior Designs came together for our first annual company outing! Hosted at Atlantic Prefab's new location in Wilton, NH, family and friends came together to celebrate with yard games, delicious BBQ provided by Alan's of Boscawen, a bouncy house for the kids, and classic hits played live by the JP and Friends Band. With more than 200 guests we shared laughs and a day of fun, food, and festivity. Thanks to everyone who could join us, and we look forward to seeing you all this winter for our annual holiday gathering!

We’re back! For another fun-filled New Hampshire Food Bank Mac Off event. For another year, Metro Walls employees teamed up to help fight hunger in New Hampshire.
With speed, teamwork, and donuts fueling the Metro Walls team, they competed against other local businesses to pack, seal, and box as many mac and cheese containers as possible in one hour. September marks the Food Banks ‘Hunger Action Month’ where they shift the organizations focus on finding as many stable meals as possible heading into the winter season.
Metro Walls teamed up with Gutierrez Construction Co. Inc. (GCCI) to complete the construction at the new Keurig Green Mountain campus located at 63 South Avenue in Burlington. As part of a company-wide transition, the relocation from the Company's three existing Massachusetts facilities in Reading, Wakefield and Woburn is anticipated to take place in phases over the next several years and will include the move of GMCR's 519 employees in Massachusetts.

For the 6th year Metro Walls, Exterior Designs, Inc. and Atlantic Prefab held their annual golf outing with the winning foursome receiving $2,500 from the company to donate to a local charity of their choice.
The winning foursome included Michael Browning, Dave Anzalone, Doug Lippert, and Brendan McElroy. The team unanimously agreed to donate their winnings to Jennifer Downer Memorial Fund.
WOBURN, MA – Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts (ABC), the leading voice for the merit shop construction industry, and the Gould Construction Institute (GCI), ABC’s training affiliate, congratulate Metro Walls, Inc. for recently being named a Gold Safety, Training, and Evaluation Process (S.T.E.P.) award recipient at the 13th Annual ABC/GCI Safety & Education Dinner held May 18th at Montvale Plaza in Stoneham, MA.
This new 18,000-square-foot academic building will provide much-needed instructional space that will include eight classrooms, independent and group study areas, and a developmental mathematics and English lab.

Metro Walls, Inc. provider of full-service commercial framing and drywall, today announces Kasey Tardif has joined the safety team. Kasey will have the primary responsibility of supporting Metro Walls Director of Safety on all open projects.
Kasey is a previous employee of Metro Walls, Inc. Before joining the safety team, she provided office support to our field operations members. Most recently, Kasey has been stationed in Somerville, Massachusetts providing safety oversight at Autography Hotel, a PROCON, Inc. project.

Recently, Mike Dion joined Girls at Work, Inc. for their 3rd Annual Diva Comedy Night, an evening of hilarious stand-up with top comediennes at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH.
The event helped support Girls at Work, Inc bring lower cost programs to their Summer camp partners, helping to make the Girls at Work mission part of many girls’ Summer experiences, all over New England.
A native of Manchester, NH, Tom brings with him an extensive career centered around training and leadership to Safety Director position at Metro Walls, Inc. Tom’s introduction to the construction and mechanical industry began with his service in the Air Force where he spent 8 years as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic and Air Cargo Specialist.
Tom continued a career in public safety in law enforcement, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He spent 20 years developing his professional and personal skills as a team leader studying First Line Supervision, and Command Staffing at Roger Williams University, Investigation through the University of Michigan, as well as Critical Incident Command, and Critical Response, all which he looks to apply to Metro Walls job sites in an effort to effectively communicate and ensure safety for all field staff.
A native of Medway, MA Nate’s interested in construction began more than 10 years ago as a technical high school student. He continued to focus his career and studies in the field of construction and began a full-time position after graduating from the New England Institute of Technology in 2013.
Nate’s experience encompasses a range of project types including, custom single family homes, large multi-family, apartments, condos, and assisted living facilities. Nate moved into the drywall industry working for a company in Salem, NH where he focused on large office interior fit-ups in and around the Greater Boston Area.
Metro Walls, Inc. provider of full-service commercial framing and drywall, today announces Brendan McElroy has joined the team as an Assistant Project Manager. Brendan will have the primary responsibility of supporting Metro Walls team on all open projects.
Brendan is a Saugus, Massachusetts native and brings experience as an Assistant Project Manager to our team, previously working with a company providing low voltage electronic security.
Brendan is a 2012 graduate of Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, concentration in Architecture.
Metro Walls VP Operations, Steve Gagnon, presents a check for $2,500 to the Londonderry Friends of Music and Lance Tibbet, Rose Parade President. Metro Walls, and the Gagnon family have been long-time supporters of the Londonderry Marching Band especially when it comes to the opportunity for the band to head to the Rose Bowl Parade for the 5th time since 1992.
The $25-Million-dollar expansion will feature more than 100 guest rooms, additional dining options, as well as an expansion of the gaming floor and meeting spaces, according to a Portland Press Herald interview. The planned expansion will create 60 new full-time positions along with an estimated 1000 temporary construction jobs.
