For the 6th year Metro Walls, Exterior Designs, Inc. and Atlantic Prefab held their annual golf outing with the winning foursome receiving $2,500 from the company to donate to a local charity of their choice.
The winning foursome included Michael Browning, Dave Anzalone, Doug Lippert, and Brendan McElroy. The team unanimously agreed to donate their winnings to Jennifer Downer Memorial Fund.

Metro Walls, Inc. provider of full-service commercial framing and drywall, today announces Kasey Tardif has joined the safety team. Kasey will have the primary responsibility of supporting Metro Walls Director of Safety on all open projects.
Kasey is a previous employee of Metro Walls, Inc. Before joining the safety team, she provided office support to our field operations members. Most recently, Kasey has been stationed in Somerville, Massachusetts providing safety oversight at Autography Hotel, a PROCON, Inc. project.

Recently, President, Mike Dion joined Girls at Work, Inc. for their 3rd Annual Diva Comedy Night, an evening of hilarious stand-up with top comediennes at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH.
The event helped support Girls at Work, Inc bring lower cost programs to their Summer camp partners, helping to make the Girls at Work mission part of many girls’ Summer experiences, all over New England.
A native of Manchester, NH, Tom brings with him an extensive career centered around training and leadership to Safety Director position at Metro Walls, Inc. Tom’s introduction to the construction and mechanical industry began with his service in the Air Force where he spent 8 years as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic and Air Cargo Specialist.
Tom continued a career in public safety in law enforcement, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He spent 20 years developing his professional and personal skills as a team leader studying First Line Supervision, and Command Staffing at Roger Williams University, Investigation through the University of Michigan, as well as Critical Incident Command, and Critical Response, all which he looks to apply to Metro Walls job sites in an effort to effectively communicate and ensure safety for all field staff.
A native of Medway, MA Nate’s interested in construction began more than 10 years ago as a technical high school student. He continued to focus his career and studies in the field of construction and began a full-time position after graduating from the New England Institute of Technology in 2013.
Nate’s experience encompasses a range of project types including, custom single family homes, large multi-family, apartments, condos, and assisted living facilities. Nate moved into the drywall industry working for a company in Salem, NH where he focused on large office interior fit-ups in and around the Greater Boston Area.
Metro Walls, Inc. provider of full-service commercial framing and drywall, today announces Brendan McElroy has joined the team as an Assistant Project Manager. Brendan will have the primary responsibility of supporting Metro Walls team on all open projects.
Brendan is a Saugus, Massachusetts native and brings experience as an Assistant Project Manager to our team, previously working with a company providing low voltage electronic security.
Brendan is a 2012 graduate of Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, concentration in Architecture.
Metro Walls VP Operations, Steve Gagnon, presents a check for $2,500 to the Londonderry Friends of Music and Lance Tibbet, Rose Parade President. Metro Walls, and the Gagnon family have been long-time supporters of the Londonderry Marching Band especially when it comes to the opportunity for the band to head to the Rose Bowl Parade for the 5th time since 1992.

The Associated Builders and Contractors New Hampshire / Vermont Chapter elected Mike Dion to serve as Chairman of the Board for 2017, he will replace the 2016 Chairman Mark Hodsdon, President of Palmer & Sicard, Inc of Exeter. Dion is the president and owner of Metro Walls and Exterior Designs based in Manchester and also Atlantic PreFab located in Nashua. The annual reception was held at the Manchester County Club on January 27th.
New Hampshire’s economy was doing very nicely before this election came along, thank you very much, and it seems to be doing very well still, Trump bump or no. Despite the cries from both the left and the right of jobs, jobs, jobs, the state seems to be overflowing with them. It is workers that New Hampshire needs, not work.

All-in-all the money raised from the event will provide 3,800 meals for New Hampshire families during the Thanksgiving season!

This year Metro Walls, Exterior Designs, Inc. and Atlantic Prefab teamed for our 1st Annual United Way campaign. We're proud to announce it was an overwhelming success and we were able to meet and surpass our goal by raising over $20,000 for the Granite United Way.
Work begins at the new Procon Inc. Autograph Hotel and Residences at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA project. The building will include hotel space on floors 1-7 and residence spaces on floors 8-13. More to come soon.
Doug started with Metro Walls in the field as a laborer where he quickly excelled to a carpenter position. In January of 2016 Doug was promoted to Assistant Estimator, and after nine short months he has again been recognized for his efforts and received a promotion to Estimator. Doug’s primary responsibilities will be reviewing and developing bids, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors.
For another year a group of Metro Walls and Exterior Designs employees teamed up to help fight hunger in New Hampshire at the NH Food Banks annual Mac Off.
It was a mad dash to see how many Mac & Cheese Meals we could pack in one hour. This month being Hunger Action Month NH Food Bank is dedicated to finding as many stable meals as possible heading into the winter season. All the meals packed will be distributed to families in need throughout New Hampshire.
At Metro Walls we're focused on safety and take our training very seriously for all our employees.
Our latest round of safety training included scaffolding training safety, lift safety guidelines, and substance abuse. We also received and update from our United Way representatives regarding our employee campaign which is currently in its final week. Great day of learning and preparing our team for any job site. Big thanks to our Safety Director, Nate LaBonte, for organizing the training and keeping us safe.
Metro Walls along with sister company Exterior Designs today announced donations totaling $20,000 to The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities NH, during a volunteer event at the NH Food Bank in Manchester. The critical funding will support the NH Food Bank’s efforts to distribute nutritious food to more than 400 partner agencies statewide. A team of 8 volunteers from Metro Walls and Exterior Designs, which are both owned by Mike Dion, helped load a distribution truck with food.

Metro Walls, Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Carl Schulz to Chief Estimator. Carl will have the primary responsibility for reviewing bids, providing daily oversight of the estimating team, and helping schedule bids.
We have a team at Harbor Place in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The 81,500 sq ft commercial building is a brand new development along the Merrimack River. The seven story building will have ground floor retail space along with a river front restaurant. Designs call for a pedestrian corridor to a new Merrimack River boardwalk and public plaza. The project is expected to be completed Fall 2016.

Established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH & S) Committee, the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. The award was presented at the GCI - ABC Safety and Education Night in Stoneham, Massachusetts. The award recognizes Metro Walls and Exterior Designs employees for their dedication and committment to job site safety.
