Metro Walls is happy to announce that Sean McKeon has taken on the role of Human Resources Administrator for Metro and its three sister companies (Exterior Designs, Atlantic PreFab and Patriot Building Systems).
McKeon started at Metro in 2014 in the warehouse and moved into the position of Payroll Administrator one year ago. While he loves crunching numbers and making the most important day of the week happen (payday!) for hundreds of employees, he was also eager to take on even more responsibility and grow his skill-set.
In addition to weekly payroll, Sean will be responsible for new hire paperwork, all employee benefits, recruiting, job postings and job fairs. To be qualified for this role, Sean took a three-month course and passed an extensive exam to receive his SHRM-CP (Society for HR Management Certified Professional).
When asked what he is most looking forward to, Sean says that he is excited to interact with potential employees at job fairs and getting to know our staff on more personal levels.
